Souvenirs

I is for Indulgence.

O.K. I admit it, I now indulge myself with yarn as souvenirs. I don’t need any more refrigerator magnets, or Hard Rock Cafe t-shirts, or mini Eiffel towers. I now scope out the closest yarn stores to my hotel in any city I plan to visit.

Here are my souvenirs from Chicago, Illinois.

I is also for impetus. Stephanie Peal-McPhee’s visit tomorrow to the Bluegrass Festival of Books is the impetus for a road trip.

It looks like there is time in the middle of the day to buy some souvenirs. I am armed with 2 google maps to two yarn stores.

Her visit was also the impetus for a book purchase. While at the bookstore, I was overcome by impulsivity and came away with two books.

Ann and Kay, will you also becoming within 100 miles of Cincinnati anytime soon?

I don’t have Ann & Kay’s book yet. It’s been in and out of my Amazon basket a number of times.

    Hope to see you tomorrow!!

I wish Stephanie would actually come to Cincinnati! I know she had a stop at the airport on her way somewhere else once (she was mystified by the fact that the Cinti airport is in KY). She seems to hit all the cities around us, but never actually come here.

Ann & Kay too…I’m sure they’d love to sign my copy of their book (the one I puked on!), Ha ha.

Oh, and what colorway # is that Trekking? I can’t tell if it’s one I have or different! If it’s different, then I think I need it!
