In the jungle

Opal Tiger Jaywalker
Well, these socks belong in the jungle but since I am not a season ticket holder they probably won’t get to a Bengals game. Since they are playing so well, tickets are hard to come by. I really like how they turned out. I think the Jaywalker pattern looks really good with Opal Tiger. I made the smallest size but made them toe up following these instructions , but did my own short row heel. I also usually knit my socks two at a time on the magic loop, but did these one at a time. The advantage is that one at a time seems to go faster, and is easier to knit the heel if you only have one sock on the needle. But I think my gauge tighted up a little on the second sock. It seems a little snugger than the other.

See they match pretty well too.
Tiger Jaywalker 2
I finished them late Saturday night, wove in the ends and even washed them and hung them up to dry. They are a little snug to get on, but I think that is the nature of the unstretchy stitch pattern. They fit perfect when on and of course I wore them for the game even though they were a little warm. I just love them!

Fabulous socks! Love the tiger colors.

I found that the feather and fan socks are the same way. They are really hard to get on, but fit well otherwise.

I’ll have to give Jaywalkers a try.

Who Dey! I know a lady that wears her lucky orange flipflops to every game(lucky season ticket holder), and the Bengals won every game that she wore them. Maybe I should make her some split toe socks to go with her flipflops!

Those turned out great. That yarn is perfect for the pattern!
